Our client are recognised as one of the leaders in the UK garden accessory market. The business is gearing up for growth and owing to a recent subtle change in the structure of the business there is a requirement for an experienced supply chain candidate.
Experience with the sector would be advantageous. Experience dealing with the DIY sheds and garden centre market would be a benefit but equally we would be interested in candidates with experience from all sectors as long as there is commercial nouse, a customer focus, understanding of UK retail etc.
In this role project deadlines don't move and problems arise along the way. You will need to be a true problem solver, a big picture thinker and someone who can manage relationships and the supply chain process.
You will be expected to work closely with the account managers and the stock control team to ensure that this major account gets the added focus it needs to hit service targets and to develop the account.
